After ten unforgettable years of Unlocking together, we decided to celebrate with a dream photoshoot to honor the ride!
We knew exactly what we wanted: Photographer Anthony Videira behind the lens, editorial fresh-flower headpieces created by Colonial Floral Design, soft glam makeup by the talented Pilar Beauty, and the dreamy backdrop of Topsmead State Forest.
Just like many of our blog posts you’ve scrolled through over the years…we dream it, then make it happen. 💫
Unlocking a Decade: Our 10-Year Blogiversary Shoot!
Ten years ago, we grabbed a camera (Lora!), our curiosity (Bev writes about our experiences!), and a serious love for all things local, and Unlocking Connecticut was born. (Well… technically, Unlocking Litchfield for the first two years before we rebranded!)
What started as a passion project turned into a go-to guide for discovering the hidden gems, small businesses, and off-the-beaten-path adventures that make our state shine.
Thanks, friends, old and new, for reading, sharing, commenting, saying hi to us, and following along. We love what we do!
