Unlocking Woodbury

Woodbury may look like a sleepy little town at first glance, but trust us – it’s hiding some serious gems. Bev’s hometown for the past five years – we’ve rounded up nine must-visit spots for the perfect day in Woodbury.

Truffle fries & figgy pizza dreams – John’s Cafe

We’re frequent visitors to John’s Café thanks to Chef Dennis’ irresistible menu and host Gretchen’s wit (oh, how we laugh). We also love that there is never any question if we’re having truffle fries. Every delicious dish, from pasta to dessert, is made fresh in-house. There’s also a fabulous private party room upstairs if you’re planning a gathering!

Country chic finds – Hidden Acorn

Hidden Acorn is tucked away in a charming antique barn, and oh, is it worth the trip. Owners Debbie & Andy stock a dreamy mix of antiques, sustainable home goods, kiddo treasures, and one-of-a-kind vintage finds. We never leave empty-handed!

Glow goals – Forsythia Skincare Studio

When we need a rejuvenating & nourishing facial, we go see Kate and her team at Forsythia Skin Care. Home of the HydraFacial, we always leave glowing! Heads up: through September (2025), Forsythia is running a giveaway for a free luxury facial plus a $50 gift card toward the next one. Don’t snooze on this – enter here!

Décor heaven – Home & Earth

Heart-eyes activated. Walking into Birgit’s Home & Earth is like stepping into your best Pinterest board. Think chic home furnishings, global-inspired gifts, and gorgeous finds for every budget. Want to win at tablescapes? This is your spot. And good news: their website is just as dreamy as the store.

Zen out – Salt of the Earth Wellness Center

When we need to reset, Salt of the Earth is our go-to for holistic healing and next-level relaxation. We tried the Healy frequency experience inside the magical salt cave on our last visit. Picture this: zero-gravity chairs, soothing soundscapes, cooling jade eye masks…say goodbye to stress.

Artsy fix – Studio Hill Gallery & Design Shop

For a hit of culture without the stuffiness, Studio Hill Gallery is the place. Nadine and James curate the coolest mix of artists in their circa 1850 building, plus host live talks, fun events, and multi-media shows. Don’t skip the Studio Shop – it’s packed with unique books, gifts, and art you’ll covet for your home.

Cocktails & glam vibes – Good News Restaurant

Woodbury is spoiled with excellent eating options, and Good News is another must. Their glam new interior sets the mood, but the menu still features favorites from the original GN! Our obsession? The watermelon halloumi salad (top 10 ever!). Sip your way through their stellar cocktail list or dive into the fantastic wine selection at the gorgeous bar.

Floral magic – Bouquets & Beyond Floral and Events

Looking for flowers that wow? Brenda’s Bouquets & Beyond takes floral design to the next level with lush, imaginative arrangements for any season or occasion. Walking into her boutique feels like stepping into a floral paradise – color, texture, and artistry everywhere you look. Whether it’s a grand event or just a treat for yourself, Brenda is ready to bring your vision to life.

Hike to the tippy top – Orenaug Park

Cap off your Woodbury day with a little adventure at Orenaug Park. The hike is short but satisfying, and just when you think you’re done, climb the extra 67 feet up the old observation tower. From the top? Views of six towns and that incredible “above the trees” feeling.

✨ There you have it – 9 spots to make your day in Woodbury unforgettable!
