Unlocking Georgetown

Georgetown is a historic village tucked where Redding, Wilton, and Weston meet. It’s full of 18th–19th century charm, a cute Main Street lined with shops and murals, and a friendly small-town feel that makes wandering around a total delight. We spent the day shopping, sipping, stretching, and exploring. Holiday destination-shopping? This is your spot!

Yoga Station & Wellness: Your New Zen HQ

From the moment we stepped inside Yoga Station (a beautifully restored 1805 barn), we were swooning. The lower level is packed with wellness pros offering massage therapy, acupuncture, reiki, sound healing, facial sculpting massage – the works. Head upstairs and you’ll find the dreamiest, light-filled yoga sanctuary. With two studios, 25+ weekly classes (from beginner yoga to mat Pilates to strength flows), it’s pure bliss. Check out our magical class with owner, Whitney!

The Granite: Art, Community & Big Heart

Housed in the stunning Granite Church (built 1902), The Granite is a nonprofit arts & community space with a mission to bring people together through creativity and connection. Executive Director Richard Wenning showed us around and shared their vision of restoring this beloved landmark into a hub for events, performances, exhibits, and learning. It’s beautiful, meaningful, and absolutely worth checking out their upcoming events!

The Georgetown Owl Market & Cafe (& Restaurant & Saloon!)

Right in the center of the downtown area, you’ll find The Georgetown Owl Market & Cafe with The Georgetown Owl Saloon & Restaurant right next door. Providing any dining vibe you’re in the mood for! It was lunchtime, so we had fab wraps, fries (always), and a couple of local beers. If you want to grab some gourmet food to go, the market has a nice selection of yummies. Also, the restaurant’s exterior provides a great backdrop for pics!

Time to shop!!

Three businesses run by three fabulous women, all in one delightful (strikingly red) building.

Wild Blueberry – Ambar’s children’s boutique is a treasure trove of pre-loved, vintage, and thoughtfully made pieces – all curated with sustainability in mind. From adorable outfits to toys, books, patches, and craft kits, everything feels special. We kept saying, “Why don’t they make this in our size?!”

Casa Rosetti – Casa has a gift for uncovering incredible treasures wherever she goes, so she opened a shop to share the joy! Her collection includes vintage glassware, candlesticks, home décor, seasonal pieces, hosting essentials, and unique objects from her travels. It’s warm, whimsical, and impossible to leave empty-handed. (We certainly didn’t!)

Stems + Co – Lauryn creates refined, nature-inspired floral designs for weddings, events, and special occasions. Her studio offers custom florals, curated gifts, and fun workshops like wreath-making, centerpiece design, and candle crafting. Follow for upcoming classes, and don’t miss her hand-poured 100% soy candles, made in-studio with clean, heavenly scents.

Shops at Auburn Landing

ANOTHER 3 awesome-women-owned-businesses-inside-one-beautiful space! The Shops at Auburn Landing is a wonderland of gifts, florals, jewelry, and vintage finds.

The Shop Vintage: With a background in styling, staging, props, and set design, Jacqui has the magic touch for curation. Her shop is filled with hand-picked vintage fashion, kids’ pieces, home décor, and statement goods. It’s eclectic, elevated, and so much fun to browse.

Lily Astraea Florals: Fresh or dried, grab-and-go, or custom-made – Stephany’s floral creations are gorgeous across the board. Her shop also offers nature-inspired gifts, making it a lovely stop for something pretty, thoughtful, and unique. A must-visit for flower lovers.

Five and Nine Designs: Laura’s jewelry collection is full of eye-catching, modern-classic pieces you’ll want to wear every day. You can shop in-store or book her private concierge service for custom designs, special-occasion pieces, engagement rings, or repairs. She works one-on-one with clients to bring heirloom-worthy ideas to life.
