Rebel Waite is a London-based shirt brand, designed by Melbourne designer Alexandra Rebel Waite. We teamed up with Rebel Waite to give these incredible shirts from England, the New England treatment! The Silo and downtown New Milford were the quintessential New England backdrops for our shoot. We styled the shirts our own way and hit some standard blogging poses. We laughed a lot, as we always do, and just plain enjoyed wearing these beautiful shirts!

Rebel Waite takes the classic shirt and adds a fresh twist. Each shirt is created from the highest quality fabric and is handmade in Britain. They are named after iconic personalities from past and present. The Crawford, the ultimate boyfriend shirt – inspired by Cindy Crawford. The Claudia, elegantly chic with slim lines. The Stevie, fun and flirty, inspired by the 70s pop sensation. Check out the full list here.
And this is Alexandra Rebel Waite…
You just had your launch party at a fabulous art gallery in Chelsea, and your line is already a hit with fashionable personalities and stylists. How exciting is this for you??
This is a really exciting time for me. It has taken a lot of hard work to get where I am today but it’s been a really exciting journey. The launch was a fantastic success and it was great to see such a positive response. We’ve also had a number of international celebrities and European Royalty purchase the shirts recently. It’s only the beginning but I am really excited to see the future of Rebel Waite.
What or who inspires you for your collection?
Inspiration comes from many sources, I guess what inspired me in the beginning was to create a line of shirts to fill a gap in the market. I wanted to create the perfect shirt edit and change the perception of the simple shirt. The idea was to create a range of shirts that could take the wearer from desk to dinner, poolside to party. Rebel Waite was born with an aim to take the classic shirt staple and add a fresh and unique twist to suit today’s sophisticated woman with also an emphasis on fit, quality fabrics and local production. All of our shirts are made in London.
Have you always known fashion was your passion?
I have always worked in fashion. I think from a very young age I knew it was the path I was going to take. Going to design school in Melbourne and then making the move to London and working for various fashion brands. I always knew that I would do nothing else but work in fashion and being a designer and having my own brand was my ultimate goal.
What’s your favorite thing to pair with your blouses?
It depends on the season, however, I love to wear our blouses lots of different ways. It’s very easy to say team them with a pair of jeans, which will always look great! But I also think there are other ways to style them too. Leather skinnies look great with our silk blouses the Olivia, Lina and Alexa blouse, as does a tailored pant or skirt. I also like the Claudia shirt which is slightly more fitted paired with a trouser for that more tailored look. The Crawford shirt can honestly been worn with anything, shorts, over a bikini, skirts… its endless.
We know our stylish Litchfield County readers will want these gorgeous shirts shipped over from London! What’s the best way for them to purchase from you?
It’s really easy, we have a number of customers in the USA already. The best way to purchase our shirts is through our website www.rebelwaite.com. Everything is shipped by recorded delivery.
