The Dazzling L.I.F.F.E. Lantern Festival at Lyman Orchards (Middlefield) is an incredible experience you won’t forget! We said wow about 100 times as we walked the 1/2 mile (mostly flat) path of 400 illuminated lantern displays. Make this a new winter tradition with your friends & family! It’s going on now through January 31st (and maybe on to Valentine’s Day – check the Lyman Orchard website for updates).

And prepare to be dazzled 😍…
Although you’re going to feel warm & fuzzy on the inside…it’s cold out, so bundle up!
Enter through the phoenix tunnel…
Into a dreamland of stunning, larger-than-life animals, insects, mystical creatures, Chinese culture, dinosaurs, Santa, and so much more. You may need to walk the path a couple of times to take it all in!
Inspired by the 2000-year-old Asian art of lantern making
Every lantern has been handcrafted in China and expertly lit with thousands of colorful LED lights. Additionally, a different soundtrack plays at each themed section, bringing the entire experience to life!
It’s a photographer’s dream!
Modeled on the Terracotta Army (in case you want to be the smarty pants in your group!).
Dazzling L.I.F.F.E. Lantern Festival creator, Daniel Lai
Daniel works with a team of over 200 artists in rural China who collaboratively come up with the designs.
Lots of photo ops for the fam!

But there’s nothing like seeing it IRL! And one last thing, snacks & beverages are available for purchase. Grab a cup of hot chocolate for the walk. Perfection!
