The Meadow Farmhouse, Woodbury
We relaxed, dined out in Woodbury, played Clue by the fireside (remote control lit, our favorite kind), slept like babies, and hot tubbed!
Beautiful, thoughtful details at every turn
Our host Michele (aka @theblondehostess who we love on IG!) texted us directions on getting to the farmhouse, which is tucked away in northern Woodbury. Once there, we used our code for entry and walked into our relaxing haven for the next 24 hours. All very easy!
Co-hosts Michele and Greg Cohen like to gift their guests with some treats from favorite local farms & businesses. They also provide a list of their favorite restaurants, shops, markets, and local business they frequent, giving guests a little glimpse into Litchfield County life and the things they love about the area.
It’s not just about giving our visitors a place to sleep, it’s about giving them an experience.

Michele & Greg told us we might be in for a stunning sunrise…
In the morning we stood on the deck with our coffees for about 20 minutes with mouths agape. The colors changed every minute…we love you nature! 😍

There’s a tv in the living room, plus lots of board games to choose from. Blankets galore, so get cozy. Turn on the fireplace, crack a bottle of wine, sign into your Netflix. We suggest heading into Woodbury to any one of the amazing restaurants around, and bring home your leftovers to enjoy later. Does this sound like a perfect night, or what?!

Michele & Greg live on the next property over and are on-hand if you need them, otherwise the house is so easy to navigate contactless. The instructions are great!
We loved meeting Michele, Greg, and Lila, their sweet dog! Michele works as a product developer in the beauty industry and has a lifestyle blog on the side: The Blonde Hostess. Greg works in real estate, specializing in luxury sales in Manhattan, Hoboken & Jersey City, and recently got licensed in Connecticut.
We will be going back in the summer to have a cocktail with these two – after baby Cohen arrives!
After living in New York City for 15 years, they were finally able to make their longtime dream come true by building their house and moving to Woodbury full-time. They loved it so much, that they decided they couldn’t keep it to themselves.
Another plot of land was for sale near their house, so they decided to build another home and start their own vacation rental business.
They hope that when you come to The Meadow Farmhouse you’ll feel transported away from your everyday stresses. They invite their guests to breathe, relax, and take in all the beauty and history that the Litchfield Hills has to offer.

The view from the back of the house is a meadow, hillsides, and completely private. The perfect spot to take a dip in the cedar hot tub. Ahhhh x 100.
